The quality of the produce is generally very good and although the butchery section could provide more prepared cuts for those of us who struggle to invent, there seems to be a collective desire to ensure that every experience is a good one. The cafe offers limited choice, but it's always good and uses products sold in the shop. It's a true family farm shop with involvement from many parts of the family and this really shows in the way each customer is dealt with as an individual. I would recommend a visit. Cannot fault the service - worth a journey if you have not been. Great team. When I did at last get a look in.... WOW! What changes had taken place! So much more to take in and evaluate, so full of goodies, so sort of 'festive' in the sense of 'Here it is. Come and get it'. No change in the atmosphere, I'm glad to report. Everyone just as pleased to see you and not only friendly but so eager to assist, just as long as you go out satisfied. Charming!
